Q. How does it work?
A.
We send you a luxury metal handle with your first month's blades and then four replacement blades through the letterbox on the frequency of your choice depending on how often you shave. Add any of our additional products to receive in your next box at any time from your account either on subscription or a one-time purchase. Don't forget you can skip a delivery, change frequency or cancel your subscription at any time.
Q. What are the benefits of a subscription?
A.
You’ll receive four of our fine, sharp German-engineered blades straight through your door with free contactless delivery, without needing to do a thing!
We’ll also send you an occasional free gift with your blade deliveries, so you’ll have a little something extra to look forward to!
Q. What can I do if I have too many blades?
A.
We encourage you to get used to the luxury of using a fresh blade every week to minimise irritation. However, should you find you are not using all your blades during the month, you can get in touch with us and request to not be billed (or receive blades) for a month. You can also switch to receive blades every other month.
Q. When will my next box be dispatched?
A.
The date you purchased your first order is the date your blades will be dispatched every month or every other month. Login to your account to see when your next set of blades are going to be dispatched or change your next charge date.
Q. What will I receive in my first box?
A.
Once you have signed up to a subscription your box will be on it's way to you the next working day. In your first box you will receive your weighted metal razor and four blades. If you have added any extra add-ons such as our shave cream this will arrive along with your razor and handle in a larger box.
Q. How can I pause my subscription?
A.
You can pause your subscription for up to three months in your account. Click ‘Delivery Schedule’ then next to each product you can click ‘Skip’ and choose the date that you’d like to pause until.
Q. How can I change my frequency?
A.
You can edit your delivery frequency for any subscription in your account, just go to your account page and click 'Edit Product'.
Q. How can I add or remove products from my subscription?
A.
You can add or remove products from your delivery in your account page. To remove products from your plan, click ‘Delivery Schedule’ then next to each product you can click ‘Edit’ this will allow you to cancel a product or swap this for an alternative product.

How do I cancel my subscription
A.
To cancel your subscription go to your account and click 'Edit Product' You can then edit the subscription here or remove the product from your subscription. Alternatively If you have multiple items and would prefer your account to be cancelled by us then please email: cancel@ffs.co.uk.
Please include the email address to your subscription and postcode so we can find your account. We would also love to hear any feedback you have on our products in your email. You will receive a confirmation from our team when your subscription has been successfully cancelled.

Q. How long will my order take to arrive?
A.
Your order will be packed and dispatched the next working day from when you place your order and can take 3-5 working days to arrive. There may be some delays regionally due to the COVID-19 challenges, if your package hasn’t arrived within 14 days of placing your order please contact us so we can track your order.
Q. Will the box fit through my letterbox?
A.
If you have signed up to a subscription that includes monthly deliveries of just blades, these are the size of a large letter and will fit inside your letterbox. If you have added any creams or scrubs, these make the box slightly thicker and will only fit in around 90% of letter boxes. Thickness: 42mm.
Q. A payment has been taken but my order hasn't arrived
A.
Please allow 3-5 working days for your order to arrive after the date payment has been taken. There may be some delays regionally due to the COVID-19 challenges, if your package hasn’t arrived within 14 days of placing your order please contact us so we can track your order.
Q. Can I return my order?
A.
We're sure you’ll love your FFS products, but if not, you can return them to us within 14 days of delivery for a full refund once the products have been returned to us. Simply contact us within 14 days of receiving your FFS products and we’ll assist you with your return. Alternatively, you can package and post back your items via registered post to:

Please note we will only refund an item once we are notified of your intention to return within 14 days and goods are returned. We will also give a refund for a returned product if we are notified within 14 days after a subscription renewal and again the goods are returned to us. We do not offer refunds for subscription orders outside of the 14 day term.

Q. How do I update my card details?

In your account page click ‘Billing Information’ then from here you’ll be able to edit your billing address and card details.
Q. Why can't I login to my account?
A.
When logging in you need to make sure that there’s no capital letters or spaces at the beginning or end of the email. If you’re still having trouble logging in contact us on info@ffs.co.uk and we can help further.
Q. How do I update my address
A.
You can update your address in your account page, click 'Addresses' select the address you would like to change then from here you can edit your address details.

Q. How can I recycle my blades?
A.
If you’d like to recycle your blades, just save these up – we recommend at least 12 – place them back in your ffs box and return to us. Find out more at ffs.co.uk/recycle
Q. Is all of your packaging recyclable?
A.
Yes, our outer boxes are made from recycled cardboard and can be placed into your paper & card recycling. Our cream tubes can be rinsed out and placed in the plastic recycling and our deodorant tins can be placed in your metal recycling once the lid inner has been popped out & the tin has been rinsed.
Q. Do you accept other brands’ blades for recycling?
A.
No we only accept ffs blades for recycling.
Q. Are your products made in the UK?
A.
All of our products are manufactured in the UK, except for our blades (Germany) and our wax strips (Spain). Our razor handles are made just 500 yards from our fulfilment warehouse, see more at ffs.co.uk/forfootprintssake

Q. What are the blades made of?
A.
Our blades are made of stainless steel with a plastic casing.
Stainless steel is the industry standard amongst all razors and blades manufacturers as it delivers increased resistance to corrosion.
Nickel is a trace material during the steel making process. It is not an active ingredient in our Stainless steel.

Q. Where are the blades made?

Our blades are made in Germany and are manufactured to the highest standards in the world by the Edgewell, the parent company of the Wilkinson Sword.
Q. Do the blade strips contain aloe vera?
A.
No our strips do not contain aloe vera.
Q. How can I buy extra blades?
A.
If you require extra blades one month, you can contact us at anytime and we can process a one off payment to your account for you without the need to set up another subscription.
Q. How can I get a new handle?
A.
If you would like to order a replacement handle visit your account to add an additional handle to your next box.
Q. Where can I find the bikini blade?
A.
The bikini blade can be found on the very tip of each blade.
Q. Are the blades recyclable?
A.
Yes, our blades can be recycled with the FFS recycling scheme. You can return blades in your original ffs box, we recommend saving at least 12. Q. Are the razors vegan?
A.
Our blades are manufactured by Egdewell Personal Care who make the following claims:
No animal based raw materials, No ingredients of animal origin, Manufacturing process does not include materials of animal origin, No animal tests
As such, we suggest that our razors are suitable for vegans.
Q. How often should I change my blades?
A.
It is very important to change your blade weekly, we spoke to skin expert and Cosmetic Physician Dr. Karim , who educated us on the bacteria that can grow within your razor head whilst stored in your bathroom. She advised her patients that when shaving they should change their blade once a week.
With this information, we recommend you change your blade each week or after 5-6 uses of your blade, to prevent any health risks and for hygiene purposes.
Q. I ordered a gift box, how can I get blades?
A.
Once you receive your gift box you will receive a voucher inside the box which enables you to get 25% off your first month when you sign up to a subscription. If you do not have this code please let us know!
As you have already received a handle, that code will automatically deduct the handle off your order at the checkout.

Our blades are comparable with big brand razors you'd buy on the high street. Manufactured to the highest standards in the world by the Edgewell, the parent company of Wilkinson Sword.

Yes, our shave cream, shave scrub and shave balm are certified as cruelty free under Cruelty Free International's Leaping Bunny Programme.

Q. Why choose a natural deodorant?
A.
Our deodorant is handmade from natural ingredients that are 100% organic - it’s free from Parabens, Aluminium, BPAs, Petrochemicals and Palm Oil. It’s also not packaged in plastic, making it better for the environment.
Unlike many regular deodorants it doesn’t just mask bad smell, it actually prevents it. And unlike antiperspirants it doesn’t block your sweat glands, meaning that your body can still remove toxins.
Q. What does 100% organic mean?
A.
It means that none of the ingredients have been sprayed with pesticides or include any additives. All of the ingredients that can be organic are, and ingredients like minerals, salts and clays are in their pure form.
Q. How does the deodorant work?
A.
When sweat interacts with bacteria on the underarm it causes body odour. The Bicarbonate of Soda ingredient slightly alters your skins natural pH level, which prevents bacteria (causing smell) from thriving. The Coconut Oil and Shea Butter provide moisturising benefits and the Aloe Vera soothes the skin.
Q. How do I apply the deodorant?

Apply a pea sized amount using your fingertips to underarms, massaging into skin. Rub between fingertips to soften if needed.

Our deodorant should be stored in a cool dark place to keep it at its best. In periods of very hot weather or if you're on holiday, it can be stored in the fridge - allow it to soften a little at room temperature before using.

Q. What is the shelf life?
A.
Our deodorant has a use-by of 12 months. If you’re not planning on using it straight away, we'd recommend keeping it in the fridge until you are ready to use it.
Q. Can I use it after shaving?
A.
Yes, our deodorant balm contains Aloe Vera to help soothe fresh-shaved skin. If skin is particularly sensitive, we’d recommend a patch test after shaving.
Q. What are the dangers of aluminium?
A.
Aluminium is not something that occurs naturally in our bodies and there are some studies which link aluminium to health problems, including the possibility of increased risk of breast cancer and neurological diseases. The Breast Cancer UK website lists aluminium as one of the chemicals to avoid and produces information to help you reduce your risk.

No they are ready to use straight away. Do not heat the strips.

Our strips are suitable for use on the upper lip, chin, middle brow, armpit and outer bikini line. Not suitable for use on rest of face, head, ears, anus, other genital areas or any other body parts.
Q. Can they be recycled?

Unfortunately they can’t be recycled due to the wax residue.
Q. Are they safe to use on sensitive skin?

We know that everyone’s different when it comes to their skin, so we would recommend testing a small patch first to ensure you don’t experience irritation.
